Despite the low temperatures Spring really does feel in the air.
The longer days, bursting daffodils, flowering trees and the sudden return of insect life don’t lie. The beginning of the end of winter is truly here.
There is still The News but there is always The News. Everything goes on until it doesn’t and what we can actually deal with and meaningfully affect remains, as always, much smaller than we imagine.
I’m writing this wearing my coat indoors to conserve energy. The price of heating oil literally doubled after The War began and we’re hoping we can get through until Autumn before having to order again.
Last day of work tomorrow before heading to Bristol to see Thundercat, then back at it on Wednesday for my 12 hour shift.
